Aikido is a form of Japanese Budo, a way of study including both physical and mental training. The word Aikido can be loosely translated as "the way (do) of harmony (ai) with nature or universal energy (ki)." We practice moving in harmony with others in our physical techniques to eventually create harmony in our daily relationships and communities. Learn more about Yoshokai-style Aikido, the Kobukan, and the History of Aikido.
Aikido Yoshokai of Minnesota (AYM) is affiliated with the Aikido Yoshokai Association of North America (AYANA).
